What is Zewar E Taleem Program
Zewar-e-Taleem Program is a conditional cash transfer initiative aimed at supporting girl students enrolled in public sector schools across 16 districts with low literacy rates. The program seeks to increase enrollment and retention while addressing nutritional needs essential for adolescent girls.
The stipend of Rs. 1,000 per month is provided to female students from grades 6 to 10 in government schools of Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chiniot, Dera Ghazi Khan, Jhang, Kasur, Khanewal, Kot Addu, Layyah, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Okara, Pakpattan, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Vehari. The disbursement is conducted quarterly through a branchless banking system developed by PSPA and is subject to at least 80% attendance, verified by the School Education Department.
Students in grade 10 are automatically excluded from the program upon completion of the academic session. Similarly, students who drop out of school are also disqualified from receiving the stipend.
Newly enrolled students, admitted through the annual enrollment drive by the School Education Department, are eligible to receive the stipend upon successful biometric verification.

زیورِ تعلیم پروگرام ایک مشروط مالی امدادی منصوبہ ہے، جس کا مقصد کم شرح خواندگی والے 16 اضلاع کے سرکاری اسکولوں میں زیرِ تعلیم طالبات کی تعلیم کے فروغ اور استحکام کو یقینی بنانا ہے۔ اس پروگرام کے تحت طالبات کی غذائی ضروریات کو بھی مدِنظر رکھا گیا ہے، جو نوجوان لڑکیوں کی نشوونما کے لیے نہایت ضروری ہیں۔
حکومت کی جانب سے ماہانہ 1,000 روپے وظیفہ فراہم کیا جاتا ہے، جو چھٹی سے دسویں جماعت تک کی طالبات کو بہاولنگر، بہاولپور، بھکر، چنیوٹ، ڈیرہ غازی خان، جھنگ، قصور، خانیوال، کوٹ ادو، لیہ، لودھراں، مظفرگڑھ، اوکاڑہ، پاکپتن، راجن پور، رحیم یار خان اور وہاڑی کے سرکاری اسکولوں میں دیا جاتا ہے۔ فنڈز کی تقسیم سہ ماہی بنیادوں پر کی جاتی ہے اور اس کی ادائیگی کے لیے اسکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ سے کم از کم 80% حاضری کی تصدیق ضروری ہے۔
دسویں جماعت مکمل کرنے والی طالبات کو خودبخود پروگرام سے خارج کر دیا جاتا ہے، جبکہ وہ طالبات جو تعلیم ادھوری چھوڑ دیتی ہیں، انہیں بھی اس پروگرام سے نکال دیا جاتا ہے۔
اسکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے سالانہ داخلہ مہم کے تحت نئے داخل ہونے والی طالبات بایومیٹرک تصدیق کے بعد اس وظیفے کی حقدار بنتی ہیں۔
Eligibility Criteria for Zewar-e-Taleem Program 2025
The Government of Punjab has launched the Zewar-e-Taleem Program to support female students facing financial difficulties in continuing their education. Many young girls are unable to pursue their academic dreams due to economic instability.
To address this issue, the Punjab government has introduced the Khidmat Card, enabling eligible students to receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 1,000 from grade 6 to grade 10.
However, to qualify for this financial aid, students must meet the following three eligibility criteria:
- Your B-Form or CNIC
- Enrollment in Grades 6 to 10 – The student must be studying in a government school.
- Minimum 80% Attendance – Regular attendance is mandatory to remain eligible.

Method 1: Withdraw Cash via HBL ATM
Follow these steps to withdraw money from an HBL ATM using your Khidmat Card:
- Locate the nearest HBL ATM.
- Insert your Zewar-e-Taleem Khidmat Card into the ATM.
- Enter your 4-digit PIN for verification.
- The ATM will prompt you to enter the withdrawal amount.
- Enter the amount and press ENTER.
- Retrieve your Khidmat Card. and Collect your cash, count it, and ensure the correct amount before leaving.
If you encounter any issues, visit another ATM or try an alternative withdrawal method.
Method 2: Cash Withdrawal from Khidmat Card Agent
If you prefer not to use an ATM, you can collect cash from an authorized Khidmat Card Agent:
- Dial 267# on your mobile phone.
- Select “Receive Cash” and enter the withdrawal amount.
- Enter your 4-digit MPIN for security verification.
- You’ll receive a confirmation SMS with a withdrawal code.
- Parents can visit any Khidmat Card Agent with their CNIC.
- Provide the code received via SMS to the agent.
- Collect your cash and ensure you receive the correct amount.
- A confirmation SMS will be sent after the transaction.
